Czech Finals: Draci Brno back on top in Extraleague

After one year of absence on the throne of Czech Extraleague Baseball, Draci Brno is back on top. The Dragons defeated the Eagles Prague in four games in the championship series, winning the decisive fourth match 1-0 in a pitcher’s duel on Saturday in the Czech Capital. Both teams had split the first two games of the series in Brno. Draci clinched the title with a doubleheader sweep in Prague. In 2011 Technika Brno had ended the long reign of Draci by beating them in the championship series. But this year the defending champion was eliminated in the semi-finals.
