The German Baseball and Softball Federation announced the roster for the 2012 Baseball European Championship in the Netherlands on Friday. The list also includes minor leaguers Kai Gronauer, Max Kepler, Markus Solbach and Daniel Thieben. Since Donald Lutz of the Cincinnati Reds is on the 40-man roster of the MLB organization he is not eligible to play. The tournament will be played from September 7 to 16 in Haarlem, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
