The Swiss All-Stars defeated the Swiss National Team 11-3 in the final of the inaugural Swiss International Alpine Cup in Zurich. The All-Star selection of head coach Chris Palatinus took the lead in the third inning and blew the game wide open, scoring eight runs between the fifth and seventh. Benji Waite of the Bern Cardinals received the win. Casey Auerbach, who drove in 12 runs in the three-day tournament, was named MVP.
