Spanish Finals: CB Barcelona one Win away from Title

Defending champion CB Barcelona is one win away from repeating as Spanish Division de Honor winner. On Saturday they celebrated a pair of shutouts over regular season winner Astros Valencia to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five championship series. Game one was a thrilling pitcher’s duel, which got decided in the tenth inning, when Oscar Roman scored the lone run on a sac bunt. Jose Hernandez and Oscar Jimenez won the duel on the mound against Trevor Caughey. In the second game Barcelona won 10-0 thanks to a gem of Jorge Balboa and a clicking offense. Games three to five will be played in Valencia next weekend.
