With the first Swiss Alpine Cup coming up next weekend, the Swiss Nationalliga A continued on Saturday and Sunday with three doubleheaders. On Saturday the Zurich Challengers dispatched the Wil Devils with a pair of lopsided shutouts, scoring 32 runs in two games. One day later the Bern Cardinals solidified first place in the standings by sweeping the Zurich Barracudas in two close games. In the third matchup the Embrach Mustangs and Therwil Flyers shared wins in a split.
