In the Swiss Nationalliga A just three of the scheduled six games were played. On Saturday leader Bern Cardinals dispatched the Wil Devils. The defending champion out-scored their opponents 41-2 in two games. On Sunday the Zurich Barracudas escaped from the Embrach Mustangs with a 4-3 victory before rain denied the second game. The doubleheader between the Therwil Flyers and the Lucerne Eagles was rained out completely.
