In the Austrian Baseball League defending champion Vienna Metrostars cut the deficit towards the top four with two wins over the Vienna Neustadt Diving Ducks, which were ranked second before the game day. Leader GEI Athletics Attnang-Puchheim meanwhile extended their gap towards the pack with a sweep against the Union Kufstein Vikings. In the third matchup the Dornbirn Indians solidified their standing among the top teams with victories versus the Schwaz Tigers.
