Recaps: Astros de Valencia with KO Wins in Spanish Division de Honor

14th Matchday of Spanish Baseball League of Honor Division (June, 09 & 10, 2012)

The Astros de Valencia bats continue on-fire and produced thirty six careers in ten innings to win they weekend Series in El Turia, 17 to 2 (KO, 5inn) and 19 to 2 (KO, 5inn). In the first game Infante and Aineto homered and produced nine RBI’s between both of them to allow a comfortably advantadge to Trevor Caughey (10-1) who only should work the first ones three innings to win the game. Jose R. Marte (0-8) only worked one inning and was the defeated pitcher. In the second game were Ochoa and Aineto (again) those who homered and also the whole line-up scored one run at least in order that the Astros starter Luis Galicia (1-0) was obtaining his first victory. Jose D. Cabral (0-8) was the loser.

In El Fango, San Inazio Bilbao Bizcaia home, the local team won both games to CBS Sant Boi. A Juan J. López (5-5) long relief and a very productive four runs eighth inning allowed to San Inazio win the first game 8 to 5. Daniel Matías (3-4) lost the match. In the second game, eighth inning Marianucci’s opening single and a throwing error on second base were enough to scored the San Inazio’s winning-run and win 5 to 4. The reliever Alberto Magallón (5-4) won the match and Rubén D. Fente (7-5) was the loser.

In the Navarre local derby the victories were shared. Pamplona like visitor won the first game 0 to 4 and the local Béisbol Navarra the second one 16 to 0 (KO, 5inn). Alexis J. Fumero (4-7) only allowed four hits to shoutout the local team and D. Celaya RBI two runs and scored another one to lead the Pamplona’s offensive. Harold Y. Rumión (5-8) lost the game. In the second match, Febles and Perozo (twice) homered and RBI four careers each one to support the winner work of Yorking Céspedes (1-1). The visitor starter Eneko del Burgo (3-8) only completed one inning to lose the game.

The leader CB Barcelona won his Series as visitor to El Llano, 3-8 and 1-9. Jose L. Hernández (10-1) strikes out nine in six inning to win and Óscar Jiménez (S5) worked three inning to save the game. Óscar Roman’s four hits and Varela’s two RBI’s headed the guest offensive. Carlos J. Beuajon (1-4) was the loser. In the second match. the starter Jorge Balboa (7-1) only allowed one unarned run in five inning’s work to win the match. Jonathan García (S2) saved and Óscar Angulo homered and the whole line-up hit in order that the visitors were winning clearly. Javier J. Flores (1-9) lost the game.

CB Viladecans hosted Marlins de Tenerife and they divided victories. In the first game, the visitor Léslie Nacar (9-3) strikes out fourteen to win an excellent pitching duel against Viladecans starter Juan C. Campos (8-5) who strikes out nine but lost the game. Dewis Navarro’s RBI and scored were decisive in the guest victory, 1 to 2. The second match was to local team 6 to 3. Pol Llopis (2-1) was the winner and Grullón RBI three with double and home run to lead the Vila’s offensive. Cristian Remedios (1-2) lost the game.

Next weekend (June 24) only will play a rain-checked match. Béisbol Navarra receives in Burlada to CB Barcelona.
