Florida WBC Qualifier probably moved from November to September

Posted on June 19, 2012 by philipp

There is still no official confirmation, but the rumor mill is spinning at a fast pace. The World Baseball Classic Qualifier with Spain, France, Israel and South Africa, which was announced to be played in Jupiter, Florida in November 2012, is probably going to be re-scheduled. According to a report by the Los Angeles Times this weekend the WBC Qualifier will be moved to September due to stadium logistics. According to a Facebook posting by French federation president Didier Seminet dates will be September 19 to 23, slightly different from the Regensburg Qualifier (September 20 to 24). Two more WBC Qualifiers will be played in Panama City and Taipei City in November.
