Preview: Paderborn, Cologne make up Rainout in Baseball-Bundesliga

Posted on May 25, 2012May 25, 2012 by philipp

The Untouchables Paderborn travel to Cologne this weekend to face the Cardinals in a make-up doubleheader of an earlier rainout. The U’s moved into first place in the northern division last week with a pair of wins over these Cards at home at the Ahorn Ballpark. Cologne dropped to seventh in the standings, but remains in contention for the fourth playoff spot.

The other German Baseball-Bundesliga teams don’t have any league games this weekend. The Buchbinder Legionaere host the Bonn Capitals, Stuttgart Reds and the Czech Extraleague club Kotlarka Prague in the Buchbinder Cup invitational tournament at the Armin-Wolf-Arena in Regensburg. The Bad Homburg Hornets travel to Attnang-Puchheim for Finkstonball.

Saturday, May 26:
