It was not a good weekend for home teams in the Swiss Nationalliga A. On Saturday the Bern Cardinals took two wins from the Lucerne Eagles to defend their unbeaten streak to start the 2012 season. Also the Therwil Flyers moved into second place with a pair of wins at the expense of the promoted Wil Devils. On Sunday the Embrach Mustangs won twice against the Zurich Lions to conclude the game day in Switzerland.
