Results Belgian First Division May 19&20

In the Belgian First Division the Hoboken Pioneers have taken over sole possession of first place in the standings. They swept the Brasschaat Braves this weekend. They also took advantage of a split by the Namur Angels against the Deurne Spartans. The Spartans handed the Angels their third loss of the year with a 1-0 win in a pitcher’s duel on Sunday afternoon. Also the Borgerhout Squirrels against the Royal Greys and the Mortsel Stars against the Antwerp Eagles shared wins.

Brasschaat Braves – Hoboken Pioneers 5-7
Borgerhout Squirrels – Royal Greys 2-1
Deurne Spartans – Namur Angels 3-6
Antwerp Eagles – Mortsel Stars 9-10
Sunday, May 20:
Hoboken Pioneers – Brasschaat Braves 14-4
Royal Greys – Borgerhout Squirrels 2-1
Deurne Spartans – Namur Angels 1-0
Mortsel Stars – Antwerp Eagles 3-4
