Unipol Bologna defeated the De Angelis Godo Knights 6-4 on Tuesday evening in a make-up game of a twice rained out game. Fortitudo took a quick 3-1 lead and added three more runs in the fifth to get on winning lane. Godo tried to come back, but the deficit was too steep to get over. Mark Castellitto went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Daniele Malengo also drove in two. Takahiko Sato scored twice. Juan Gonzalez had a pair of RBI for the Knights. Paolo Tanesini crossed the plate two times. Cody Cillo picked up the win, allowing an unearned run on three hits and two walks in five innings. Massimiliano Geri was charged with the loss, issuing seven hits, six runs (5 ER) and two bb in 4 1/3 innings.
