In the British National Baseball League the Essex Arrows made up some ground in the standings, returning to .500 with a pair of wins over the Lakenheath Diamondbacks. The Southampton Mustangs also won twice (against the winless Croydon Pirates), moving into third in the standings. The London Mets beat the Harlow Nationals in the fifth game.
