Results Austrian Baseball League April 21&22

Posted on April 23, 2012 by philipp

The first full week of 2012 was played in the Austrian Baseball League this weekend. It saw a couple of surprises. While defending champion Vienna Metrostars celebrated its first sweep of the season against the Union Kufstein Vikings, the Vienna Wanderers and GEI Athletics Attnang-Puchheim were not that successful. The Wanderers lost both games at the promoted Dornbirn Indians. The A’s had to settle for the split against the Vienna-Neustadt Diving Ducks, also a new team in the league. On Sunday the Stock City Cubs beat the Schwaz Tigers twice to conclude the game day.
