Preview: Rouen, Senart going reinforced into Week 4 of Division I

Posted on April 13, 2012April 13, 2012 by philipp

After taking an off weekend during Easter, the French Division I returns with week four. The Montpellier Barracudas – last year in the finals – had a horrible start into 2012, losing five of the first six games. They will face the undefeated Paris UC on Sunday, trying to make up some ground in the standings. Fellow 6-0 team Rouen Huskies will be reinforced in their matchup with the Pessac Panthers, as Ethan Paquette and Mathew Smith finally have arrived. The Templiers Senart, which will inaugurate their new ballpark on Saturday night against Stade Toulousain, also have new arrivals on board. The two 24-year-old Americans Brandon Cruz and Steve King are coming from Farmingdale State College in New York to France. In the fourth matchup in the Division I this weekend the Savigny Lions will meet with the promoted Beaucaire Chevaliers.

Schedule:
Saturday, April 14:
19:00 Senart – Toulouse
Sunday, April 15:
11:00 Montpellier – Paris (DH)
11:00 Savigny – Beaucaire (DH)
12:00 Pessac – Rouen (DH)
