Schedules for Final Four and European Cup Playoffs announced

The Confederation of European Baseball recently announced the schedule for the Final Four in Barcelona and the European Cup Playoffs in Brno and Antwerp.

After the withdrawal of the European Cup champion Corendon Kinheim, three Italian teams are going to travel to Barcelona for the first Final Four. In the semi-finals on Saturday, September 13th Montepaschi Grosseto will face Danesi Nettuno and the FC Barcelona takes on T&A San Marino. The final is set for Sunday, September 14th. It is going to be difficult for the host of the event, as the Spanish championship ended at the beginning of August and the Italian teams are still playing for the national championship.

In Brno (September 11-13) and Antwerp (September 19-21), AVG Draci Brno and the Royal Greys have to defend their positions in the A-Pool of the European Cups against Dinamo, KNTU, Bern Cardinals and Kaunas Lituanica.
