Split between Rouen and Senart in final regular season series

At the end of the regular season the TEMPLIERS and the HUSKIES met again. In game one ROUEN scored three runs in the eighth to defeat SENART 5-4. Romain David evened the score with a RBI single. Keino Perez followed with a ground ball past third base to drive in two more runs and a 5-3 lead. The TEMPLIERS cut the deficit to a run in the ninth, but failed to tie the contest. Julien Brelle Andrade hit a solo homerun for the Elite League leader. Daniel Meurant drove in two with a double.

Perez allowed six hits, four runs (3 ER) and three base on balls in a complete game victory. He struck out 13. Samuel Meurant took the loss, after giving up eleven hits, five runs (4 ER) and two walks in eight innings. He punched out eight.

SENART got revenge in the second match, scoring runs in seven of the nine innings in a 14-3 win. Ernesto Martinez was the main force in the pounding, hitting a three-run homerun in the first and adding a two-run shot in the sixth. Gaspard Fessy also homered for the TEMPLIERS. Sebastien Herve was on base in all six plate appearances (four walks, single, double) and scored three times.

Evan Blesoff struck out five in a complete game win. He allowed three runs on six hits. Mathieu Crescent went 4 1/3 innings, being responsible for five of the 14 runs.

The playoffs, played in a double round robin format, are going to start next weekend.
