French Prospects touring American Colleges

Posted on March 26, 2012 by philipp

A pair of French prospects went to North America to visit colleges this March in hopes to pursue educational and athletic opportunities oversees. Catcher Theo Lakmeche (Toulouse Baseball Academy/Savigny Lions) and right-handed pitcher Jonathan Mottay (Toulouse Baseball Academy/Stade Toulousain) went on the trip under the guidance of U21 National Team manager Boris Rothermundt.

They visited John Wood Community College (Antonio Felix), Landscape Community College, DuPage College (Quentin Becquey), College of Lake County, Glendale College (Andy Pitcher), Arizona Christian University and Cochise College (Maxime Lefevre). A couple of French players are already attending these schools with the French Baseball and Softball Federation hoping to add more.
