Preview: Week 2 in French Division I

Posted on March 23, 2012March 23, 2012 by philipp

In week one of the French Division I the Rouen Huskies, Templiers Senart and Paris UC celebrated sweeps. Rouen impressed with strong pitching in a finals rematch against the Montpellier Barracudas, while PUC showed their bats versus the promoted Beaucaire Chevaliers. Senart edged out the Pessac Panthers. Only Stade Toulousain and the Savigny Lions settled for the split.

In week two Savigny hosts the Huskies for a duel between championship rivals of the last couple of years. But after the Lions struggled in Toulouse on opening weekend it remains to be seen how they will fare against the defending champion. Also Montpellier takes on Senart, hoping to get into the win column. Additionally PUC battles with Pessac and Toulouse plays against Beaucaire.
