Recap: CB Barcelona, Leader Unbeaten

4th Match Day Spanish National League Honour Division

CB Barcelona won both games against Sant Boi (Sant Boi de Llobregat, 17 and 18/03/2012) 0-7 and 5-17 (KO, 8inn). On Saturday, Jose L. Hernandez (4-0, 8IP, 8K’s) domain the rival line up again and his team, Pau Sancho 2B (4Ab, 2run, 2hit, 4rbi – 1HR) to the head, did the offensive perfomance. For Sant Boi the game was lost to Ruben D. Fente (2-1, 7IP, 6K’ss). The next day won the starter Jorge Balboa (3-0, 6IP, 4K’s) in a game where all his entire team batting good, highlighting O. Angulo SS (4Ab, 1run, 3hit, 4rbi – 1HR). Daniel Matias (2-2, 4IP, 5K’s) took the loss.

In Bilbao (Bilbao, 17/03/2012) San Inazio struck two KO’s (5inn and 6inn respectively) to Halcones de Vigo with the same score, 15-0. In the first match the winner was Juan J. Lopez (3-1, 3.1IP, 7K’s) and K. Marianucci CF (3Ab, 2run, 1hit, 4rbi – 2B) one of the most outstanding with the bat. Jose R. Marte (0-3, 2IP) lost the match. The second game of the series was won by Alberto Magallon (2-1, 6IP, 4K’s) and found in A. Rubio 2B (2AB, 2run, 1hit, 3rbi – 2B) a good offensive support. The loss went to Jose D. Cabral (0-3, 3IP).

In the matches played on Monday (Burlada, 19/03/2012) Astros de Valencia and Pamplona divided wins 1-2 and 10-1. Trevor Caughey (4-0, 9IP, 13K’s) fully launched to win the first game and A. Orti LF (3Ab, 3hit, 2rbi – 2B) batting in the runs of the match. The defeat was noted by Jerome Debrais (0-1, 7.2IP, 4K’s). The second game was won Eneko del Burgo (3-1, 8IP, 3K’s) with the batting support of G. E. Guerrero SS (4Ab, 1run, 3hit, 3rbi). Pedro P. Belmonte (3-1, 6IP, 4K’s) was the losing pitcher in the game.

Marlins Puerto de La Cruz won both games against Béisbol Navarra in their visit to Pamplona (Burlada, 03/17/2012). The first match, with the result 6-7, was won by Leslie Nácar (2-2, 5IP, 7K’s) and was saved by Miguel Rizo (2SV, 4IP, 3K’s). Dewis Navarro C (3Ab, 1run, 2hit, 3rbi – 2, 2B) supported with his bat. The losing game went to Harold Y. Rumion (1-3, 6IP, 1K). The other game, score 4-5, was won by Lowuin Sacramento (2-2, 9IP, 9K’s) and the offensive was in charge of R. Rijkhorf RF (4Ab, 3hit, 1rbi – 3B). The losing game went to Andres Casado (1-1, 7IP, 3K’s).

In Viladecans (Viladecans, 17.03.2012) the locals prevailed in both games by scores of 5-0 and 11-1. In the first game starting pitcher Juan C. Campos (2-2, 9IP, 12K’s) shout out his rivals and was attended on offensive support by A. Grullon LF (3Ab, 1hit, 2rbi – 2B). Wilquin Escanio (0-4, 8IP, 4K’s) took the loss. The second match was decided by KO (7inn) and the winner was Marc Jodar (1-1, 6IP, 6K’s), which was supported by the entire offensive team, especially R. Peguero 2B (3Ab, 1run, 1hit, 2rbi) and Felix Cano Jr. RF (3Ab, 1run, 1hit, 2rbi). The loser was Javier J. Flores (1-2, 7.1IP, 3K’s).

The next matchday (24 and 25/03/2012) thus will face the teams: in Sant Boi, Sant Boi vs San Inazio Bilbao Bizkaia; in Vigo, to Halcones de Vigo vs Astros de Valencia; in Burlada, Pamplona vs Béisbol Navarra; in Puerto de La Cruz, Tenerife Marlins vs Viladecans; and in Barcelona, CB Barcelona vs El Llano.
