Italian outfielder Paolo Tanesini returns from Telemarket Rimini to the North East Knights. He played on a loan contract for the Pirates. He batted .221/.347/.317 with two triples, six doubles, 14 runs and 17 RBI in 37 games (30 starts) in 2011. Meanwhile pitcher Rodney Rodriguez apparently is taking the same path, but in the opposite direction. Nothing is agreed yet, but it seems that Rimini is interested in the hurler, who was 2-8 with an ERA of 2.99 in 14 starts for Godo-Verona last year. He collected 95 strikeouts and 32 walks in 81 1/3 innings.
