17-year-old Swiss catcher/third baseman Rafael Eigenmann has been invited to the 2012 Under Armor Pre-Season All-America Tournament, which will be held from January 13 to 15, 2012 at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona, former spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Swiss U18 National Teamer is currently attending Oakland Christian School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. During a visit back in Europe he briefly played for the Therwil Flyers at the European Cup Qualifier in Solingen, Germany. Previous participants in the tournament include David Wright (2001), BJ Upton (2001), Gavin Floyd (2000), Lastings Milledge (2002) and Dante Bichette Jr. (2010).
