Leonel Cespedes joins Templiers Senart

Besides the 17-year-old infielder Dylan Mayeux the Templiers Senart add another young player to the 2012 roster. Leonel Cespedes, an 18-year-old pitcher/outfielder, is coming from Stade Toulousain and the baseball academy in Toulouse. He appeared in 12 games for the Tigers in 2011, making six starts. He went 4-for-21 with a triple, five runs and two RBI at the plate. On the mound Cespedes was 0-3 with an ERA of 12.15 in nine games (five starts). He struck out 20 batters in 20 innings, while walking 18.
