The American Baseball Coaches Association is honoring former Cariparma Parma player and coach Sal Varriale with the Meritorious Service Award alongside Arnold Mycock of the Cotuit Kettlers during their convention in Anaheim, California this weekend. The trophies were handed out during the Honors Luncheon on Saturday, where also Dave Winfield and Mike Scioscia received an award. Varriale was nominated for his work and special achievements in the world of baseball. The ABCA Convention is held from January 5 to 8 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
