Danesi Nettuno apparently is continuing stocking up its roster for the 2012 season. The newest name is Dominican pitcher Santos Hernandez. The 27-year-old pitched affiliated ball for the Colorado Rockies and Philadelphia Phillies, but spent most of his time in independent leagues and Mexico. In 2011 he briefly played for Camden in the Atlantic League before returning to Mexico to take the mound for Vaqueros de Agua Prieta, where he had an ERA of 3.20 in 84 1/3 innings according to the report by Baseball.it.
