Cariparma Parma announced this week that Gilberto Gerali will return as manager for the 2012 season. Born in 1961 he led Parma to the championship in 2010, but missed a return to the Italian Baseball Series this year. They still were able to reach the playoffs, where they finished in fourth place with a 3-6 record. In the European Champions Cup Final Four the Angels lost to T&A San Marino in the title game.
