Austrian Finals: Vienna Metrostars one Win away from Title

The Vienna Metrostars are just one win away from their 12th title in the Austrian Baseball League. The record champion stunned regular season winner and defending champion Athletics Attnang-Puchheim on Saturday with two wins in Vienna to get up in front 2-0 in the best-of-five final series. David Dorffner had the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the tenth inning of a 5-4 win. In game two the Metrostars scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth en route to a 15-4 victory. Games three to potentially five will follow next weekend in Attnang-Puchheim.
