The organizers of the Haarlem Baseball Week announced on Wednesday that they have reached an agreement to bring a Japanese team to the 2012 edition of the tournament. A selection of University players is going to make the trip to the Netherlands next summer. Obviously the Dutch National Team will be on hand as well. Four other teams will be added until the end of the year. The 26th Haarlemse Honkbalweek will be played from July 13 to 22, 2012 at the Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, Netherlands.
