In the lone game in the German Baseball-Bundesliga this weekend, the Berlin Sluggers take on the Dohren Wild Farmers in the German capital, as both teams try to secure seventh place in the northern division standings, hoping to avoid the direct demotion into the 2nd Baseball-Bundesliga at the end of the year. However even though the doubleheader will have some meaning, the outcome in this race will be decided in the playdowns, where both teams will meet four more times.
