Lithuania took a fast 2-0 lead after three innings and decided the outcome definitely against Bulgaria in the eighth, when they put six more runs on the board for a final 8-0 shutout. Eimantes Zickus (W 1-0) struck out twelve in a complete game victory. He allowed just two hits and three walks in the nine innings. Offensive wise shortstop Arunas Dankovskis reached three times and drove in two. He was one of eight batters, who got at least a hit and scored.
Dimitar Nassapov (L 0-1) started for Bulgaria, after getting the save against Israel on Monday. He gave up nine hits, eight runs (6 ER) and four base on balls in 7 1/3 innings.
Serbia – Israel 9-11

Israel won a wild game against Serbia 11-9, after scoring five runs in the eighth frame. Moments before, they had blown a 5-0 lead and nearly gave up another five-run advantage, as Serbia rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth period. Oren Gal had three hits, three runs and three RBI. Yoniton Werchow scored three times for Israel. Borivoj Jeremic and Danijl Kozjak each drove in two. Vlastimir Arandelovic, Nikola Vucevic and Ranko Iavnic scored twice for Serbia.
Dan Rothem (ISR) started already his second game, striking out seven in five innings. He allowed five hits, one run and a walk. Shlomo Lipetz (W 1-0) received the win. Sinisa Vajdic (L 0-1) was charged with five hits, nine runs (3 ER) and six bb in 7 2/3 innings.
