Posted on June 16, 2011June 16, 2011 by philipp

The HSV Stealers have found a replacement for Justin Prinstein as starting pitcher in game two each week. The German Baseball-Bundesliga club from Hamburg has signed right-handed pitcher Justin Staatz. The 27-year-old is a well-traveled man, having played in the United States, Japan and Australia. Last year he pitched for the Rouen Huskies during the European Cup stretch. He also looks back at 22 appearances for Minnesota Twins affiliates in the Gulf Coast and Appalachian League in 2006. Afterwards he spent two years in the independent Frontier and United Leagues.
