Greek national teamer Efthymios Karkatselos is leaving the German Baseball-Bundesliga team Pulheim Gophers due to professional reasons. The 26-year-old had a 4-4 record with an ERA of 6.89 in ten games for Pulheim this season. He struck out 27 batters in 48 1/3 innings, while walking 21. He also batted .278/.316/.319 with five runs and ten RBI in 18 games. Besides taking the mound as a starter or reliever, the Gophers also used him at first base and in the outfield corners.
