Posted on June 9, 2011June 9, 2011 by philipp

The 2011 Buchbinder Cup, the 2nd edition of the invitational tournament, is going to be played from Saturday, June 11 to Monday, June 13. Four teams will battle for the trophy and the €1,500 prize money, which will be issued by main sponsor “Buchbinder – Rent a Car”. Besides host Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and last year’s winner Untouchables Paderborn, the Bonn Capitals and Solingen Alligators will be coming to the Armin-Wolf-Arena in Regensburg.

The organizers changed the format from a round robin to the more exciting double elimination. On Saturday the Bonn Capitals and Solingen Alligators will square off to open the tournament at 2pm. At 7pm the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and the Untouchables Paderborn will face each other. On Sunday the winners and the losers will meet in two games (2pm and 7pm). The finals will be played on Monday (11am and 3pm).

You can follow the tournament via a live stream at legionaere-tv.de
