UVV completed a sweep over Mr. Cocker with a 4-2 win on Sunday afternoon in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Three runs in the bottom of the eighth turned a 1-2 deficit into a 4-2 victory. An error led to the tying run. Fausto Alvarez followed with a go-ahead RBI double. Jeroen Hermans added an insurance run with a RBI single. HCAW led since a RBI single by Adrian Anthony in combination with an error. Jurjen van Zijl (W) issued four hits, two runs (1 ER) and a walk in eight innings. Moises Melendez (L) took the loss in relief.
ADO – Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam 4-5

Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam erased a 1-3 deficit en route to a 5-4 in The Hague over ADO. Three runs in the top of the eighth completed the comeback. Jourick Blanco collected two hits and two runs for Sparta/Feyenoord. Jair Roseburg went 3-for-4 with a run and a RBI for ADO. Gregory Gustina (W) was charged with four unearned runs on six hits and three walks in eight innings. Nick Martin (L) surrendered nine hits, five runs (2 ER) and three bb in eight innings.
Vaessen Pioniers – Corendon Kinheim 4-3

The Vaessen Pioniers also completed a sweep on Sunday afternoon. They beat Corendon Kinheim 4-3. Moments after the club from Haarlem had tied the game in the top of the seventh, the Nik Gumeson hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the same frame to seal the win for the Pioniers. The American third baseman also hit a solo homerun and drove in three. Shane Gnade (W) received the win after 3 2/3 innings of solid relief. Patrick Beljaards (L) took the loss for Kinheim.
