On Friday Andy Fleischacker resigned from his post as head coach for the Austrian Baseball League club Schwaz Tigers. He cited personal reasons as motive for his decision. The 40-year-old came to Austria this past offseason after two years with the Solingen Alligators in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. He is going to continue coaching the Swiss National Team and is open to take over a new head coach opportunity somewhere in Europe.
