In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the two first-ranked teams extended their lead in the standings. In the north the Untouchables Paderborn remain undefeated, as they came back twice against the Solingen Alligators for a sweep. In the south the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg defeated the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe in both ends of a two-game series. A shutout on Friday night was followed by a one-run victory on Saturday. The highlight of the game day belongs to Dohren’s Garrett Rogers, who struck out 16 in a complete game ten-inning shutout over the Dortmund Wanderers. He also hit a walk-off solo homerun in the tenth for the 1-0 final score.
