The FC Barcelona made a big stride towards the championship in the Spanish Division de Honor this weekend. Against the second-ranked Astros Valencia they celebrated a pair of shutouts and extended their lead to three games in the standings. CB Sant Boi is the new runner-up thanks to two lopsided wins over the Sevilla Red Sox. Valencia is tied for third place with the Tenerife Marlins, which split against CB Viladecans. San Inazio Bilbao and Halcones de Vigo picked up sweeps as well.
