Qualifiers: Bern Cardinals, Kaunas Lituanica and Dinamo still undefeated after four games

Brno, Czech Republic:
The BERN CARDINALS defeated the Slovenians from KRANJSKI LISJAKI 8-4 and reached the finals on Saturday. There is still a game left in preliminary round on Friday morning against ZAGREB BC. BERN is now 4-0 and could face LISJAKI again, as they are currently second in the standings with three wins and a loss. The finals are played in a best-of-three format with the result of game one coming from the first round. So, the CARDINALS would reach the finals with a 1-0 lead. The Austrian UNION KUFSTEIN VIKINGS upset host MZLU EXPRESS 10-8 in the night cap and moved to 2-2. ZAGREB defeated the ANGELS TRNAVA 12-0 in the third game on Thursday.

Kutno, Poland:
After four days competition in Kutno, Poland, KAUNAS LITUANICA is the only undefeated team. They crushed SUNDBYBERG on Wednesday 15-5 and followed this up with a 3-2 victory against host MKS AMZ KUTNO. Their opponent in the finals could be the AVEIRO UNIVERSITY, which is surprisingly 3-1. They lost to KUTNO on Wednesday and beat ESPOO EXPOOS from Finland on Thursday. AVEIRO and KAUNAS face each other on Friday. SUNDBYBERG is 2-2. The OSLO PRETENDERS have lost all four games so far.

Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria:
The VIENNA METROSTARS lost their first game of the tournament on Thursday, getting pounded by BLAGOEVGRAD 14-4. Both teams now are 3-1, trailing DINAMO from Romania, which is 4-0. The METS face them on Friday. BLAGOEVGRAD plays against BEOGRAD. The tiebreakers could determine the finalists in this pool.

Brest, Belarus:
In Brest, two 3-1 clubs face each other on Friday. KNTU beat UKS DEBY OSIELSKO 9-0 on Thursday for win number three. BREST ZUBRS lost 7-8 against BK VILNIUS. Behind the two front runners, three teams, the ZURICH CHALLENGERS, STOCKHOLM and VILNIUS sit at 2-2. The games on Friday will decide who will reach the finals on Saturday.
