Posted on April 15, 2011 by philipp

The Spanish Division de Honor already on the verge of closing the first half of the regular season. In week eight leader FC Barcelona is traveling to Pamplona to take on Baseball Navarra. Barca has lost just two games this season and has a one-game lead in the standings over the Astros Valencia. Navarra on the other hand couldn’t repeat its success from last year, currently sitting in seventh with a 5-9 record.

In other matchups CB Sant Boi hosts the surging CB Viladecans for another round in the battle for Catalonia. The Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz are at home for their twin bill with Halcones de Vigo. Valencia is traveling to Bilbao for two games with San Inazio. In a duel at the bottom of the standings the Sevilla Red Sox hope for their first win against CD Pamplona.
