As rumored after his release by the Detroit Tigers, Victor Moreno officially is returning to UGF Fortitudo Bologna according to a report by the Italian blog Grande Slam. The 31-year-old Venezuelan had an ERA of 0.56 with 52 strikeouts and six walks in 32 1/3 innings last season. He is playing in the Italian Baseball League since the 2009 season. He had signed a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training with the Tigers, but didn’t make the cut for the Major League roster.
