The 2011 season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga will start this weekend with six doubleheaders. It all starts in the south with a duel between the Haar Disciples and defending champion Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg on Saturday afternoon. Later that day the Dortmund Wanderers will take on the promoted Berlin Sluggers. On Sunday the Mannheim Tornados face the promoted Bad Homburg Hornets in the south. In the north the Pulheim Gophers will play against the Dohren Wild Farmers, the Solingen Alligators square off with the HSV Stealers and the Paderborn Untouchables host the Bonn Capitals.
