Honkbalsite.com reports on Saturday that the Hoofddorp Pioniers have found a new main sponsor. The construction company Vaessen BV from Raamsdonkveer is going to take over for Konica Minolta, which had ended its partnership with the Pioniers after 32 years. With the new sponsor the team will play under the name “Vaessen Pioniers” in the Dutch Hoofdklasse this year.
