Results Belgian Baseball June 7/8

NAMUR and HOBOKEN are off to a good start into the second round of the Belgian championship. The ANGELS scored eleven runs in the first to crush the BRAVES on the road 26-5 and followed this up with a 9-3 win on Sunday, coming back from a 0-3 deficit in the seeventh inning.

The PIONEERS swept their opening series versus the SQUIRRELS. The first game of the ROYAL GREYS against MORTSEL STARS matchup was postponed with the GREYS winning the second on Sunday 6-1. The best two clubs of the Elite Division will advance into the Belgian Series to determine the champion.

In the promotional round the two teams from the first division, KANGAROOS and the CATS, won their openers. The ANTWERP EAGLES won the lone duel between second division clubs against the BEVEREN LIONS. The first two clubs in the Promotional Division will play in Belgians First Division next season.
