The Godo/Verona North East Knights have added two pitchers for game two each week and seem to have completed their roster for the upcoming season in the Italian Baseball League. The 32-year-old Edgar Arismendi and the 18-year-old Ismael Teixeira are both from Venezuela, but are in possession of European passports. Arismendi pitched for Venezuela in the Pan Am/World Cup Qualifier last fall. He recently has obtained a Spanish passport. Teixeira has a Portuguese passport. His fastball is reaching 89 MPH and also has a curve ball and a hard sinker in his repertoire.
