2011 Season in Czech Extraleague starts on April 9

The 2011 season in the Czech Extraleague is starting on April 9 with a full game day. All eight teams from 2010 will return to the league, trying to end the reign of defending champion AVG Draci Brno. Last year’s title holder is going to open the new year against Technika Brno. The other three matchups also will have a regional rivalry character. Hrosi Brno is facing MZLU Express Brno, Kotlarka Prague takes on the Eagles Prague and the Arrows Ostrava will play against Skokani Olomouc. The regular season in the Extraleague will be interrupted for two weeks at the end of June and another two weeks at the end of July. The last regular game day is scheduled for August 28.
