SAVIGNY overcame deficits in both of ends of the doubleheader in CLERMONT-FERRAND and won twice.
The ARVERNES took a 2-0 lead after RBIs by Quentin Gelineau and Brice Lorienne into the ninth inning. But the LIONS had one answer left. Jerome Rousseau scored, when CLERMONT-FERRAND misplayed a relay throw. They loaded the bases and player-coach Pierrick Lemestre smacked a pinch hit bases clearing double into center field to secure the 4-2 victory on the road. Doug Grant struck out ten in 8 1/3 innings for the loss. Lemestre also received the win on the mound, as he worked two scoreless innings in relief of starter Carlos Jiminian (7 IP, 2 ER).
The second match was similar, but not nearly this thrilling. The ARVERNES took a fast 1-0 lead in the first on a RBI single by Lanis Bouteloup. SAVIGNY tied the contest in the sixth on a sac fly by Sebastien Boyer. They turned the score into their favor in the seventh, scoring three runs on two hits, two walks and an error. Both squads added runs in the eighth, but CLERMONT-FERRAND lost 2-5. Olivier Charlionet allowed four runs in 6 1/3 innings for the loss. Pierrick Lemestre relieved the LIONS starter after 3 1/3 innings to receive his second victory of the day.

The HUSLIES struggled offensively, but received great pitching performances to win twice on the road against LA GUERCHE. In the first match Jason Kosow and Keino Perez combined for 13 strikeouts in the two-hitter with Kosow receiving the win after six innings pitched, allowing one hit, one run and four walks. Anthony Piquet went nine innings for the HAWKS and took the loss.
ROUEN scored early in the second part of the doubleheader and added three runs in the eighth for a 4-0 shutout win. Starter Giovanni Ouin gave up five hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings. Alexandre Sochon got the win for three one-hit one-walk innings of relief. Laurent Aoutin closed out the game for the save. Ludovic Clairet received the loss.
The TEMPLIERS SENART extended their winning streak to 14 games with two victories against last-ranked PARIS UC (12-2, 4-0). The doubleheader between MONTPELLIER and TOULOUSE was rained out.
