The Swiss Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF) recently released the schedule for the upcoming season in the Swiss Baseball and Softball Leagues. In the Swiss Nationalliga A the Zurich Challengers will host the promoted Zurich Lions for an opening day matchup at the Heerenschürli. One day later last year’s finalists Bern Cardinals and Therwil Flyers will face each other at the same ballpark. Softball is opening its 2011 season in Switzerland one week later with a full game day. Defending champion Luzern Eagles is going to have to teams in the top division.
