The Belgian Baseball and Softball Federation and head coach Sven Hendrickx have announced the program for the Baseball Senior National Team leading up to the European Championship Qualifier. Warm-up games include possible matchups against the Junior National Team of the Netherlands, the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and a USA Team. Not everything is set in stone, but a final roster could be released around July 7.
Belgium Baseball Senior National Team Program 2011:
- Practices Preliminary Roster: May 3, June 7, June 21, July 5
- Scrimmages against Dutch Junior National Team in Eindhoven or Oosterhout area, date to be announced
- Announcement Final Roster July 6 to 8
- Possible two-day training camp with games in Regensburg on July 9 and 10
- Games versus USA Team on July 12 and 13 in Antwerp area
- Practices Final Roster: July 16, July 17, July 19
- European Championship Qualifier from July 25 to 30 at the facilities of the Hoboken Pioneers in Antwerp against Austria, Latvia, Poland and Slovakia
