The Austrian Baseball League club Vienna Metrostars has added the former Minor Leaguer Jeffrey Tezak to the 2011 roster. The 24-year-old Californian switch hitting middle infielder is expected to arrive in Vienna in March. After being selected in the 24th round of the 2009 Amateur Draft out of the University of Nebraska he played two seasons in the Chicago White Sox organization, up high as Single A. In 102 combined games in the Pioneer and South Atlantic League he batted .291 (OBP .392/SLG .334) with eleven extra base hits, 59 runs and 44 RBI.
